Double brain zap trial aims to tame Drug-Resistant seizures

Summary
This early study tests whether stimulating two brain regions at once can reduce seizures in 10 adults with motor epilepsy that doesn't respond to medication. Participants will receive deep brain stimulation (DBS) targeting both the subthalamic nucleus and the centromedian thalamus. The main goals are to measure seizure frequency changes and track any side effects from the implant procedure.
