NCT ID NCT07395336
First seen Feb 10, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This phase 2 trial tests a combination of two hormone-blocking drugs (elacestrant and exemestane) in 26 people with advanced HR+/HER2- breast cancer that has stopped responding to initial treatments. Only patients whose tumors still show high estrogen receptor activity on a special PET scan (FES-PET) are eligible. The goal is to see if this combination can control the cancer for at least 6 months while avoiding chemotherapy side effects.
