First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study aimed to test whether a combination of four drugs (anti-thymocyte globulin, low-dose interleukin-2, adalimumab, and exenatide) could help people newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes keep making their own insulin. The trial planned to enroll adults aged 18-35 within 120 days of diagnosis and measure insulin production and immune cell changes after one year. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
