Two-Drug attack on Hard-to-Treat prostate cancer shows promise in early trial

NCT ID NCT07219147

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether combining a targeted radiation drug (177Lu-PSMA-617) with an immune cell therapy (Sipuleucel-T) works better than the radiation drug alone for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to hormone therapy. About 30 men will take part. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and boosts the immune system's attack on cancer cells.
