Summary
This study compared two different drug combinations for treating advanced colorectal cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Researchers tested whether a new drug called A140 works as well as an existing drug called Erbitux when combined with standard chemotherapy. The trial involved 688 patients with a specific genetic type of cancer who hadn't received previous treatment for their advanced disease.
