Summary
This study compared two different drug combinations for treating advanced colorectal cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Researchers tested whether a new drug called A140 works as well as an existing drug called Erbitux when both are combined with standard chemotherapy. The trial involved 688 patients with specific genetic markers who hadn't received previous treatment for their advanced cancer.
