Doctors test routine colon check after heart stops

NCT ID NCT07359313

Summary

This study aims to find out how often patients develop colon damage after their heart stops and they receive CPR. Researchers will perform routine colonoscopies 24-36 hours after successful CPR on 200 adult patients to detect this damage early. The goal is to see if this screening approach helps identify patients who might need surgery sooner.
