Summary
This study looked back at over 7,000 people who had surgery for stage I to III colon cancer to see how the cancer's stage and lymph node involvement affect the chance of it returning. The goal was to find patterns in where the cancer comes back (like in the liver or lungs) and how long people live. No new treatments were tested; instead, the researchers used existing medical records to better understand who needs closer follow-up.
