Summary
This study looked at 20 healthy adults needing an immediate dental implant after a badly decayed tooth was removed. Researchers compared placing a collagen membrane inside the tooth socket versus outside it to see which helped bone and gum heal better. The goal was to find the best technique for preserving bone and gum thickness around the new implant.
