Summary
This study collects blood, spinal fluid, and brain tissue from 400 people with severe seizures (status epilepticus) or epilepsy linked to brain inflammation (dysimmune encephalitis), plus control patients. Researchers aim to find antibodies and markers of nerve cell death that could improve diagnosis and understanding of these serious conditions. Participants must be 2 years or older and enrolled in French social security.
