Brain training may ease chemobrain in breast cancer patients

NCT ID NCT06686823

First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested whether a personalized cognitive training program could help breast cancer patients manage 'chemobrain'—memory and thinking problems caused by chemotherapy. Fifty newly diagnosed patients were split into two groups; both received standard advice, but one group also did 80 brain-training sessions over four months. Researchers measured changes in memory, attention, anxiety, sleep, and quality of life to see if the training made a difference.
