Mind-Body boost: new training eases anxiety in frail seniors

Summary

This study tested whether adding cognitive exercises to physical training could improve quality of life in frail older adults. 32 people aged 65 and older took part in an 8-week program combining resistance training, core exercises, and cognitive tasks. The results showed that the combined approach helped reduce anxiety and depression, and improved balance and brain function.
