Summary
This study tested whether taking coenzyme Q10, a natural supplement, could help reduce seizures in adults whose epilepsy does not respond to standard medications. 39 participants took either coenzyme Q10 or a placebo for 12 weeks while continuing their usual seizure drugs. The main goal was to see if seizure frequency decreased and if thinking abilities improved.
