NCT ID NCT07452653

First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at 10 adults over 50 with hearing loss in both ears and one weak balance system. Researchers want to see if putting a cochlear implant in the ear with worse balance leads to less dizziness after surgery. Participants will be randomly assigned to get the implant in the weaker or stronger balance ear, and their dizziness will be tracked before and after the procedure.
