Summary
This study looked at how cochlear implant microphones change as they get older or dirty, and whether different signal coding strategies are affected differently. Researchers tested 81 French-speaking adults with normal hearing to measure how well they recognized syllables. The goal was to understand these effects, not to provide a treatment.
