Summary
This study tests a new way to help families prevent and manage childhood obesity. It combines two programs: one for all first-grade students and their families, and another for parents of children who are already overweight or obese. The goal is to see if this combined approach improves collaboration between schools and health clinics, leading to better weight management. About 126 parents of children aged 6-12 with overweight or obesity will take part.
