First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new cell therapy called CNK-UT009 in 40 people with severe inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's or colitis) that hasn't improved with standard treatments. The main goal is to check safety and find the best dose, while also looking at how well it works. Participants receive a single injection of these immune cells, which are designed to calm the overactive immune response causing the disease.
