Clean air trial aims to cut COPD attacks

Summary
This study tests whether using air cleaners at home can lower the risk of COPD flare-ups and improve quality of life. About 770 adults with COPD will use either a real or sham air cleaner for several months. Researchers will track breathing problems, medication use, and daily function to see if cleaner air makes a difference.
