New acne cream shows promise in large trial

Summary
This study tests a cream called clascoterone for moderate to severe acne. About 692 people aged 12 and older will apply the cream or a placebo to their face twice daily for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the cream reduces acne lesions and improves skin appearance better than placebo.
