New tool aims to help kidney patients get more from doctor visits

Summary
This small pilot study is testing a discussion checklist called CKD Topics to help people with advanced kidney disease prepare for doctor visits. Researchers will work with 30 patients in rural areas to practice using the checklist and surveys. The goal is to see if the procedures work well before launching a larger study.
