New devices peek at tiny vessels to spot early kidney trouble

NCT ID NCT07604922

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study will test two new non-invasive devices that measure how well tiny blood vessels work. Researchers will compare 165 adults in five groups: healthy people, those with high blood pressure, those with type 2 diabetes, and those with moderate or severe chronic kidney disease. The goal is to see if these devices can detect early blood vessel problems linked to heart and kidney disease.
