Summary
This study tested whether a weekly injection called CK-0045 could help people with type 2 diabetes and overweight or obesity better control their blood sugar after meals and lose weight. About 90 participants received either one of two doses of CK-0045 or a placebo injection for 16 weeks. Researchers measured changes in blood sugar levels and body weight to see if the treatment was effective and safe.
