New device maps brain tumors during surgery in first human test

Summary

This early study tests a new device called the CIPHER System in 10 adults having surgery for a newly diagnosed brain tumor (glioma). The device is used during the operation to record brain signals from the tumor and surrounding areas. The main goal is to check if the device is safe and works as intended. Participants receive standard surgery and are followed for six weeks after.
