New combo therapy aims to boost lung cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07543172

First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a cancer vaccine (CIMAVAX-EGF) to standard targeted pills (sotorasib or adagrasib) can help people with advanced KRAS G12C-mutated lung cancer live longer without their disease getting worse. About 29 adults with stage III or IV non-small cell lung cancer will receive the combination. The goal is to see if the vaccine boosts the immune system to fight cancer more effectively alongside the targeted therapy.
