Can smokers still taste the mint? study tests cigarettes after flavor ban

NCT ID NCT06816459

Summary

This study aims to understand if adult smokers can still detect menthol flavor in cigarettes sold in different states after flavor restrictions. Researchers will recruit 30 daily menthol cigarette smokers in New York to smell and taste various cigarette products. The goal is to gather information about how flavor bans affect product perception, not to provide treatment.
