Can smokers still taste the mint? study tests cigarettes after flavor ban
NCT ID NCT06816459
Summary
This study aims to understand if adult smokers can still detect menthol flavor in cigarettes, even after recent bans in some states. Researchers will ask 24 daily menthol cigarette smokers in New York to smell and taste different cigarette products to see if they can identify flavors. The goal is to gather information about how flavoring affects smoking, which could help inform future tobacco regulations.
