Community helpers may ease cancer journey for black patients

Summary
This study looks at whether support from a community health worker can help African American patients with advanced cancer feel better and plan their care. About 160 patients will either get standard care or extra help from a health worker. The goal is to see if this support improves quality of life and helps with advance care planning.
