Summary
This study trains church members to become community health workers who help Latino(a) adults manage diabetes and reduce their risk. About 400 Spanish-speaking participants will learn about diabetes and get support to overcome barriers to healthcare. The goal is to see if this church-based approach works well and is accepted by the community.
