First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting antibiotics around chronic wounds can help them heal better than standard care alone. About 60 adults with non-healing wounds on their arms, legs, or trunk will either receive the injections plus usual wound care, or usual care only. The study lasts about 6 months and tracks wound size, healing, and any side effects.
