Summary

This study aimed to understand why some people develop long-term pain after kidney removal surgery. Researchers followed 204 patients for a full year after their operation, tracking their pain levels and many personal and surgical factors. The goal was to identify which factors increase the risk of chronic pain to help doctors better prevent it in future patients.
