First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study is creating a registry of 5,000 adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD) to track their health over time. Researchers will collect information on diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes like kidney function decline, heart problems, and death. The goal is to understand current care patterns, find risk factors for disease worsening, and build a model to predict progression. No new treatments are being tested—this is purely an observation and data-gathering effort.

What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this registry could help doctors better predict how CKD progresses and identify gaps in current treatment guidelines.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It collects data but does not test any new drug or intervention, so it cannot directly improve patient outcomes.
Conditions
The condition(s) this trial relates to.
As listed by the trial registrant
The condition terms exactly as the trial's registrant entered them.
