New eLearning program aims to make mealtimes better for nursing home residents

Summary

This study looks at whether a virtual training program called CHOICE+ can help staff in long-term care homes improve mealtime experiences for elderly residents. About 800 people—including residents, staff, and family members—will take part across 13-18 homes. The program trains staff to make mealtimes less rushed and more enjoyable, with the goal of improving residents' food intake, weight, and satisfaction.
