Summary
This study tests a traditional Chinese herbal solution used as a mouthwash and oral drink to see if it can shorten the time patients suffer from severe mouth sores caused by radiation therapy. The trial involves 128 adults with head and neck cancer who are receiving radiation. The goal is to reduce pain and speed up healing of these sores, which can make eating and talking very difficult.
