NCT ID NCT02390765

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how genes and the environment shape children's eating behavior and health over time. Researchers will follow 1,500 children ages 8-17 for up to 6 years, using wrist monitors, smartphone surveys, and yearly checkups that include blood tests, X-rays, and thinking tasks. The goal is to identify early signs of eating-related health problems, not to test a treatment.
