New hope for kids battling Leukemia's return

Summary
This international study aims to improve treatment for children and adolescents whose acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) has returned and is considered high-risk. Researchers are testing whether adding the drug bortezomib to standard chemotherapy helps more patients achieve a second remission. All participants will later receive a stem cell transplant as part of their ongoing care.
