Summary
This study tested whether chewing gum and using hot compresses after gynecologic cancer surgery can reduce pain, help the bowels work sooner, and improve overall comfort. 84 women who had minimally invasive surgery took part. The goal was to see if these simple, drug-free methods speed up recovery and make patients feel better.
