This study looked at whether chewing gum and applying warm compresses after gynecologic cancer surgery can reduce pain, help the bowels work sooner, and improve overall comfort. 84 women who had minimally invasive surgery took part. The goal was to find simple, drug-free ways to speed recovery and make patients feel better.
