Summary

This study tests whether using xylitol gum for 4 weeks, along with text message reminders, can help daily smokers in Hong Kong cut down or quit. About 134 adults who smoke at least one cigarette a day will either get the gum and support or just brief advice. The goal is to see if the gum makes it easier to stop smoking.
