First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether a chatbot that gives personalized advice can help men who have sex with men reduce chemsex (using drugs before or during sex). About 100 men in Hong Kong will be split into two groups: one gets weekly videos on chemsex risks, and the other gets the same videos plus a chatbot that tailors tips to their readiness to change. Researchers will check if the chatbot group reports less chemsex after 3 and 6 months.
