This study tested whether sending supportive messages via WhatsApp could encourage men who have sex with men in Mumbai and Thane, India, to get tested for HIV and connect with preventive services like counseling or PrEP. Over 1,000 participants joined the 18-month study. The goal was to see if a mobile-based program could increase HIV testing and use of prevention tools in a high-risk group.
