Summary
This study tested whether sending supportive messages via WhatsApp could encourage men who have sex with men in Mumbai and Thane to get tested for HIV and connect to preventive services like counseling or PrEP. Over 1,000 men took part. The goal was to see if a simple mobile tool could increase testing and prevention uptake in a high-risk group.
