First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a new type of crown made from a strong resin-based ceramic that can be created in a single dental visit. Fifty adults with a cracked, decayed, or failing filling in a back tooth received these crowns. The goal was to track how long the crowns last without breaking or falling off over five years.
