First seen May 02, 2026 ยท Last updated May 02, 2026

Summary

This study looked at how well a new type of tooth crown works. The crowns are made from a strong resin-ceramic material and are created in a single dentist visit using a computer. 50 adults with a cracked, decayed, or failing filling in a back tooth received these crowns. Researchers checked for cracks or the crown falling off over five years.
