Could a simple monitor speed up foot ulcer healing?

NCT ID NCT06054659

Summary

This study tested whether using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helps heal diabetic foot ulcers better than standard fingerstick testing. Researchers followed 116 adults with type 2 diabetes and foot ulcers for 16 weeks after hospital discharge. They compared wound healing rates and quality of life between the CGM group and the fingerstick testing group.
