New study tests if Pain-Free glucose monitors help heal diabetic foot sores faster
NCT ID NCT06054659
Summary
This study tested whether using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helps heal diabetic foot ulcers better than standard fingerstick testing. Researchers followed 116 adults with type 2 diabetes and foot ulcers for 16 weeks after hospital discharge. They compared wound healing rates and quality of life between patients using the CGM device and those using traditional fingerstick tests.
