New study aims to close diabetes care gap for uninsured patients

Summary
This study tests whether continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) help people with type 2 diabetes who are uninsured or on Medicaid better control their blood sugar. About 50 adults who take daily insulin will be randomly assigned to use a CGM or standard care. The goal is to see if CGMs improve glucose levels, quality of life, and reduce long-term complications.
