New study tests High-Tech glucose monitor for diabetes patients leaving hospital
NCT ID NCT07414277
First seen Feb 21, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helps people with type 2 diabetes who take insulin keep their blood sugar under control after they leave the hospital. About 160 adults will either use a CGM or do standard finger-prick tests for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the CGM leads to better blood sugar levels and fewer highs and lows.
