NCT ID NCT07414277

First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helps people with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar after leaving the hospital, compared to standard fingerstick testing. About 160 adults on insulin will use either a CGM or fingerstick tests for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if CGM leads to better blood sugar levels and fewer complications during this critical transition period.
