Real-Time glucose monitor may boost weight loss in prediabetes
NCT ID NCT07423065
First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) that shows real-time blood sugar levels helps people with prediabetes and obesity make healthier choices, compared to a hidden CGM. About 34 adults will try both types of monitoring to see which leads to better blood sugar control and weight loss. The goal is to find out if seeing your glucose numbers can motivate positive lifestyle changes.
