NCT ID NCT07314866
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This small pilot study tested a new way to treat dead (necrotic) teeth in 6 adults. Doctors took pulp tissue from a healthy donor tooth, mixed it with a growth factor concentrate (CGF), and transplanted it into the dead tooth. After 12 months, they checked if the tooth regained feeling and if the bone around the root healed. The goal was to see if this approach could restore tooth health and avoid root canal treatment.
